On the other hand, it also seeks to protect consumers by providing necessary information about the products available to them. The consumerism concept is used in different fields in the marketing sector. Its main area of focus is consumer protection. This is done through consumer movements and consumer enterprises. The consumer movements ensure that consumers access goods and services that are safe for use.
Corporate social responsibility incorporates dimensions of corporate responsibility, and corporate policy which include a company’s policy to hire minority or disabled workers, or taking a stance on social and political issues that benefit the community.
