These are my three most favourite cookery books that I own, the ones that I go to first for inspiration and ideas. I found the centre one in a garden centre and it’s jam packed with everything you need to know about each vegetable and fruit and how to cook it as well as plenty of recipes. It’s alphabetical which is perfect and tells you how to store your produce too.
The Nigel Slater and Monty Don books are simply just beautiful. There’s lots of information about the gardens, the people and how to grow the produce aswell as actually cooking it, so they are much more then recipe books. The Fork to Fork book also had a corresponding television programme which is great, you can find it over on Youtube. I also have my eye on Nigel Slaters Tender Volume II which is all about fruit, I keep hinting at it for my birthday so fingers crossed
